These prompts work best with Jasper AI or Copy.ai

You have three campaigns launching this quarter and every deliverable owner keeps asking what’s due when. This template maps every task, dependency, and approval gate across multi-channel campaigns so nothing falls through the cracks. Not for single-channel launches or event planning—this is built for integrated campaigns with 15+ deliverables across paid, organic, and owned channels.

What this template does

Replaces the manual process of chasing campaign updates across Slack, email, and Monday check-ins. When you open it day one, you see a master campaign database with status views for each launch phase. After one week of use, the Overdue Tasks view shows exactly which deliverables are blocking launch, and the Weekly Status Report view generates a client-ready update in 30 seconds. Tracks up to 8 active campaigns with 25 deliverables each.

How to use it week by week

  1. Monday morning campaign setup: Paste the new campaign brief into Campaign Name, set Launch Date, and select Channel Mix. The template auto-creates deliverable templates based on your channel selection.

  2. Tuesday task assignment: Open the Unassigned Tasks view, assign each deliverable to an Assignee, and set Due Date working backward from Launch Date. Set anything blocking launch day as Critical path Priority.

  3. Wednesday dependency mapping: For any task marked Blocked, add the blocking reason in the notes and tag the person who needs to unblock it. These surface in Thursday’s escalation review.

  4. Friday status reporting: Open the Weekly Status Report view, which auto-groups by Campaign and Status. Copy this view and paste into client emails—shows exactly what’s on track, what’s overdue, and what’s blocking launch.

  5. When deliverables come in: Change Status to Review the moment someone submits work. Change to Approved only when you have written sign-off in the notes field—verbal approval doesn’t count and leads to scope creep later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the Priority field only show three options instead of numbered priorities?

More than three priority levels create decision paralysis when assigning tasks. Critical path covers anything that blocks launch if delayed. Important covers deliverables that impact campaign success but don’t stop launch. Nice to have covers optimization tasks that can be pushed to the next campaign if needed.

How do I handle campaigns with different approval workflows for creative vs copy?

The Deliverable Type field drives different filtered views for each approval track. Creative deliverables get routed to the Visual Review view which includes brand guidelines checklist. Copy deliverables use the Copy Review view with legal and compliance checks. Both link back to the main Campaign view once approved.

Can I track campaign performance after launch or just the planning phase?

This template stops at launch day—it’s built for delivery tracking, not performance analysis. Once Status changes to Approved for all deliverables, archive the campaign and move performance tracking to your analytics dashboard. Mixing planning and performance data in one template creates confusion about what needs action.
